This rectangular apron uses very little fabric and can also be sewn to be reversible for two different holiday occasions. Our Kit doll wears a black and white checkered blouse and coordinating leggings under a pumpkin apron for a Halloween dinner party.
Supply List:
- two fabric swatches 8 1/2" x 5" (our fabrics are novelty prints for Thanksgiving and Fall pumpkins
- 4' of matching or contrasting ribbon

Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Cut two different novelty prints, two fabric swatches 8 1/2" x 5.''
- Sew around the entire circumference of the two novelty prints, right sides together, leaving a one inch opening, using a straight stitch.
- Turn the apron inside out with right sides facing out. Use a tiny whip stitch to close the opening.
- Press the apron flat with an iron.
- Cut ribbon to trim the top and stitch it in place.
- Three inches from the top, center ribbon 23" in length and stitch it into place.
- Cut two equal 9 1/2" pieces of ribbon to tack onto the top of the apron so that it may be tied behind the neck.
- Tie the ribbon at the waist as well. Now your doll is ready to cook for the Fall holidays!
