...And This Young Man is Brother Peter

        One from the family and friends of Polly Pratt Paper Dolls: Published from 1919 -1921 in the Good Housekeeping magazine. Peter has several suits of clothes, toys, a snowman, and wheelbarrow.

       "Snip! Snip! went the scissors last month, as a half million happy kiddies cut out Polly and her doll, the first of all the Pratt Paper People to appear in Good Housekeeping. Sister Sally and Cousin Sam are coming next month." Below is Polly Pratt and six outfits, five bonnets, a bunny, a basket, a sand pail, an umbrella and a stroller too!

Betty Bonnet's Camp-Fire Cousin

        Betty Bonnet's camp-fire cousin comes with nine outfits, nine bonnets, one paddle and a violin. Among her wardrobe is a very nice Native American costume. I suppose she wears this to a camp during the early 1910s? Enjoy.

        Betty Bonnet's household servant come with accessories. The maid has a change of clothes and so does the nurse, she carries a red cross bag. The servants include: a driver, a cook and chef, a footman, a nurse and upstairs maid. There is also a little boy belonging to one of them that gets to play with Betty whenever he comes for a visit?

Scottish Boy and Irish Girl Paper Dolls

        Lettie Lane's Around-the-World Party in which her married sister sends her pictures of a Scotch boy and an Irish girl. Their changes of clothing with tabs include: formal plaid kilt uniforms, a hooded cloak, a flower girl's bonnet and costume, plus a best dress and work clothes for an Irish girl.

       Sheila Young was a popular illustrator commissioned by three magazines: Ladies Home Journal, Good Housekeeping and Extension to produce colorful realistic looking paper dolls. The dolls were published during the first and second decades of the 19th Century. Paper dolls listed below will be gradually cleaned and added to our listing.

Polly's Paper Playmates

These paper dolls have costumes to wear to a ball! Cut along dotted lines, and slip doll's head
into slits thus made. To make the dolls stand...paste a narrow strip of cardboard
at waist line, which will form an easel stand.

Betty Bonnet's Halloween Party


       This set of colorful paper dolls is by Sheila Young is very old. I have restored it for little ones to print, cut and play with. There are six children altogether dressed up for a Halloween party.
