A Barber Paper Pig Doll

Below is an antique paper doll based upon the old English nursery rhyme: "Barber, barber, shave a pig..." Children may print him out from their home computer. He has a suit of clothes... which is the costume of an old-fashioned barber with clippers, a brush and a comb. Cut along the dotted line between the shoulders and slip the costume over the head of the pig. There are two thicker black lines located where his front feet may slip through if you carefully add a slit at the ends of the sleeves too.

Barber, barber, shave a pig,
How many hairs will make a wig?
"Four and twenty, that's enough."
Give the barber a pinch of snuff.

Paper dolls on this blog are not to be redistributed
 or resold by alternative websites.

Daisy Gives a Paper Doll Garden Party

Nurse sitting on the garden bench with her knitting; she waits to serve tea to the children...

Daisy, the little girl on the bench, is giving a party in her garden. The other children are her playmates, who must be suitably dressed. The garden is also included with the dolls, where the nurse is sitting. Cut out the children and their party clothes. Paste a piece of heavy cardboard on the back of the garden so that it will stand up. Also paste the clothes on the dolls or make little tags to temporarily attach them. Then arrange the children around the party table in the garden.

Daisy's friends come with several outfits each, a garden shovel, a dog,
a bench, and many hats to keep the sun from their eyes!

Color More Halloween Dolly Dingle Paper Dolls:

I've heard it said that Hallowe'en
Is when all black cats yowl,
And ghosts glide past all dressed in white
And witches prowl and howl.

But I know better! It's the night
When harmless tricks are done.
And when with Jack -o'-Lanterns bright
We children can have fun.

Bobbing for apples plays its part
And fortune telling too.
There are just countless pleasant things
On Hallowe'en to do!

And if the ghosts and witches roam,
As many people say;
I'm sure that they are out like us
To join in happy play.

Sister Nell Goes to a Party Paper Doll

The Fashion-Doll Cut-Outs
By Nandor Honti
Above is a fashionable paper doll from 1925, two party dresses and a robin's egg blue cape.
Cut out each piece, carefully following the outlines. Fold on dotted lines. Paste the matching numbers together beginning by pasting 1 to 1 and son on till all the numbers are used. Hold the pasted places together until the paste hardens enough to hold, so they will not slip apart.
