Our fourth dog show entry is made by Billy who is seen hear brushing his dog, Dumpy. Dumpy is the most gentle dog in the world and would do most anything for Billy as long as he gets a nice long nap afterwards.
THE BASSET HOUND
"The Basset Hound is a hunting dog of European origin with an active record of several centuries to his credit. This breed is second only to the bloodhound in keenness of scent. The body is long and low, the ears are long enough to fold over at the tip of the nose, the sad eyes are deeply sunken, and the heavy dewlaps should hang down from a short powerful neck.
