Sleepy Dandelions

Illustrated spring and summer flower poem.

Sleepy Dandelions by Harriet Putnam

The dandelion children
Have on their nightgowns
white.
They left their yellow dresses
In cupboards for the night.

And quite forgot this morning
To leave their dewy beds;
So in their lacy nightgowns
They dream-the sleepy-
heads!
