Adding a rabbit themed weather vane.
The gazebo on the right is nearly done. It's mushroom 'gate posts' have been painted red with polka-dots turning them into toadstools.
The roof and footing of the garden gazebo greenhouse are painted a terracotta red to match the roof tiles on the three story miniature dollhouse in our family basement playroom.
The yellow pillars match the yellow exterior walls of that same dollhouse too and it's faux tiled floors inside are decoupaged paper.
See below how I spray painted copper onto an aqua painted roof to make the tin look as though it has aged.
In the future I will fill the gazebo with potted plants and miniature tools.
Then, I plan to sew a garden for the gazebo to rest in next to our three-story miniature doll house. It will be made in much the same way as our pasture was sewn for the horse stables here. (These stables are also often combined in play with the same set I have mentioned here because all are designed to accommodate our 1:12 scale dolls.)
Once I finish the window treatments in the dollhouse, I will upload photos of everything together, gazebo, garden and dollhouse and link to them here.
- See a rocker designed as a planter be transformed into a doll-sized rocking chair.
- See how I redesignated display units for DVD/CD collections into doll townhouses and saved them from the dump.
- Here is a small bookcase converted into a doll baby diaper changing station.
- And a 'tape player' designed to look like a care was transformed into a doll-sized 'car bed.' and another toy car is transformed into a doll's ball pit and another into a truck themed toy box.
- Change a jewelry box into doll dresser for the dollhouse.

The original gazebo was used to display a fern I think? Above you can see it from multiple sides. It was painted white all over.

Here you can see how It constructed the weather vane with a rabbit on top. This is removable for storage. It is shaped from cotton covered wire. This is also how I made the rabbit.

Above is how I gave the copper roof several layers of green and copper paint in order to make it look as though the roof has weathered over time.
