Stop motion video about American Girl Doll,
Joss Kendrick.
Joss Kendrick.
Joss Kendrick is the eighteenth Girl of The Year, released on January 1, 2020. She is the first ever American Girl Doll to represent a child with hearing loss in their literary series. She has one removable hearing aid that is placed in her right ear and comes with a case and second hearing aid in case she loses hers.
Joss is also into sports, both cheerleading and surfing. Joss loves surfing more than anything with her friend Sofia and Murph, the bulldog, but this is thrown for a curve when her brother dares her to join the cheer team in exchange for posting ver video in a surfing contest.
Her interests are not new to product lines; in 2003 Kailey Hopkins was introduced as a girl who loved surfing as well. (Both Kailey and Joss are from California)
Cheer uniforms plus pompoms have also been made available for American Girl Dolls since 1996.
