These little Nina Norway peg dolls probably originated in Europe. They are so sweet and simple, any little child would love to play with them! You might like to tuck them inside a Christmas stocking or build a simple little house from a shoebox for them to live in if you like.

Supply List:
- natural wood pegs with cone shaped bodies and round wooden heads (sold at kinderklpz and folksy)
- acrylic paints, any color
- yarn for hair
- fabric scraps for the bandanna shaped head scarfs
- tiny brushes
- clear acrylic varnish
- fine sandpaper
- Make sure the turned wooden pegs are free of dust and dirt before you begin. Sand these with a very fine sandpaper if they are a bit rough.
- Paint the lower cone parts with a solid coat of acrylic color. Let dry.
- Add the detail; a collar, tiny buttons, and floral accents on the doll's dress with acrylic paint. Let these details dry.
- Now paint eyes and tiny lips on the dolls.
- Apply acrylic sealer
- Braid tiny pig tails with the yarn and glue these onto the head.
- Snip a triangle shape from felt or fabric scraps to make the doll's kerchief. Tie it about her head and glue it in place with the yarn pig tails.
