Whatever your child wears . . . her doll wears too!

       "Gone are the days when a doll arrived in the household with one outfit to her name. Seasonal changes never used to affect her. She just wore the same dress around the calendar.      Now realism has hit the scene and baby doll matches her mistress dress fro dress, coat for coat, and sometimes, even hat for hat.
       Whatever the latest trend in children's fashions - rain coats, blue jeans, aprons, Bermuda shorts or Sunday best - dolls can now wear it, too.
       Children want their dolls to be dressed much in the manner of the mother-daughter fashion matches.
        Mother watches the trend in Paris. Little girls may soon be getting invitations from stores requesting the pleasure of their company at a fashion show showing the new season's line for their little Ginny, Tiny Tears, or Little Angel dolls.
       Going to the beach? Then doll and your little one are clad in bathing suits.

       Children loved to dress just like their dolls back in the 1950s. Here are two newspaper ads describing all of the possible outfits children could collect to expand their fashionable doll's wardrobe.
