"Adama" A Doll from Nigeria

Adama wears a gele on her head.

 

The printing on the side of the box she comes in reads:

        "Attired in traditional dress representing the country of Nigeria, Adama is one in a series of collectible porcelain dolls from around the world.

• Adama's leg was repaired and the fabric around her shoulder plate switched out for bleached cotton batting so that her cloths would remain unstained.
