Send a Doll With A Greeting Card

Left, the outside cover of the card/box greeting reads "Happy Mother's Day. Center, open the front
of the card to reveal a tiny doll inside of a box. A vignette of a doll in front of a cottage with a
plastic cover in front to protect her from damage. Right, this little Miss wears a lavender
garden, tea dress trimmed with organza rose buds and lace. Her eyes are blue and her
hair a subtle shade of auburn.

Each of these adorable mini dolls by Marie Osmond comes inside a different greeting card. The three that are shown here have unique face molds, measure approximately six inches in length, and are made of porcelain heads, arms and molded legs featuring shoes and socks. Their eyes are acrylic but the rest of their features are painted. Every doll has a generous wig. If you undress these little dolls, their wire armature just beneath the shoulder plate is exposed. The dolls clothing is very detailed and of an excellent quality for their size.

Left, is a greeting card with a Valentine made up of red flowers in a field. Center, behind the cover
of the card/box is a 'love' greeting and a small blond, blue-eyed doll. Right, she wears a
red gown featuring red sequins, her wig is generous, her lips coral pink and her acrylic eyes blue.

her realistic looking acrylic eyes are blue. She wears a rose colored hair ribbon in her hair.

In 1991, Marie Osmond debuted her doll line on QVC. While QVC continues to be a primary source of distribution for her dolls, Osmond also carries her line in retail stores, through Internet sales in the United States and worldwide, and direct response. Her first sculpture, a toddler doll she created and named for her mother, "Olive May," set a collectible record on QVC. Since then, Osmond has sculpted several dolls, including "Remember Me," "Baby Adora Belle," "Kissy and Huggs" and her hallmark doll "Adora Belle." In 2009, Osmond debuted her dolls on the Shopping Channel in Canada. In 2009, a 16" vinyl Fashion Doll of Marie Osmond "Grand Finale Fashion" was debuted at Osmond's 50th birthday party in Las Vegas. Osmond's doll collection has garnered numerous award nominations, including "Trendsetter of the Year" and Dolls magazine's "Awards of Excellence."
