Pom-pom hens for your doll barnyard. |
Pom-pom hens are so easy to assemble but younger children will still need help from adults with the hot glue; using other types of glue over complicates the process. It takes a mere moment to finish these little soft cuties. Add a much detail as you like to give them character.
Supply List:
- acrylic pom-poms 1"
- red and orange felt
- colored craft feathers
- google eyes
- hot glue and hot glue gun (adult supervision)
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Glue two pom-poms of equal size, preferably one inch wide, on top of each other.
- Cut from the red felt the comb and the waddle if you wish... I just attached a comb to each of my samples with hot glue.
- Glue on google eyes.
- Cut feet and beaks from the orange felt and glue these on.
- Poke in tail feathers using hot glue and brightly dyed craft feathers.
Left, finished hens. Center, felt feet. Right, this chicken is ready for play... |
