Make and display a rabbit gate for the dollhouse...

This rabbit gate would make an adorable wall display in your dollhouse this Easter. The supplies you will need include: wooden tongue depressors or Popsicle sticks, mini plastic eggs, a felt bunny sticker, white school glue, hot glue, brown paint and pale green paper.

Left, glue the green shredded grass onto the fence posts before the eggs.
Right, the completed rabbit gate.

First, you will need to cut and glue together a gate using the Popsicle sticks and white glue. Below is a photograph of both the front and back side of our rabbit's gate that you may copy. Let this little gate dry thoroughly before painting it. I painted our brown but you may prefer to use grey, white or even pink for your gate version. I thought the brown paint would look better with a white rabbit so that's the color I chose. Wrap a thin wire to hang your Easter decoration when you have completed the project or lean it up against a wall inside the doll's house.

After the paint dried on the gate I simply removed the thin paper from the back of the bunny sticker and adhered him to the middle two fence posts. Then I chopped up the green paper to make grass and use white school glue to stick it to the bottom of the fence. After this glue dried, I hot glued the plastic eggs in front of my grass. If you are too young to use hot glue, ask an adult for help!

Right, the gate has been painted and I'm waiting for it to dry before adding more details.
