Our jack-o-lantern cookies plates are made from preprinted scraps from a K & Company Halloween collection. I cut out the yellow interiors and pasted these spooky pumpkins on top of black paper. Then I layered the cut-outs with white school glue on top of corrugated cardboard. The thick cardboard made it possible for me to gently bend the paper plates up around the edges. After the glue hardened I brushed on a layer of Mod Podge, first to the top and let the plates dry. Then I brushed the back sides of each plate with Mod Podge. Done in this order; the curved aspect of the cookie plates will remain.
Halloween themed cookie plates, from above and the side, for the dollhouse displays are made with scraps, cardboard and glue. |
