Claudie Wells, Flappers and Jazz...

"Meet Claudie" cover.
        The historical character doll, Claudie Wells, by American Girl was born on May 5th, 1913. She represents a child growing up in Harlem, New York City during the 1920s. Her best friends include her younger brother, six year old Jody, her good girlfriend, Nina and her friend Winston Martin who originally grew up in the Southern part of the United States.
