Examples of the doll sized Valentine mailbox crafts. |
Dolls at Trinity Church School in Dollville will have our annual, crafty Valentine mailbox contest this year. Each of our participating doll contestants must enter their own hand-crafted mailbox under one of the following themes: Sporty, Traditional, Animal, Architecture, Sweet Shop, Monster, Fairy Tale, Mother Goose Rhyme, Transportation or Dress Up. Every box must include:
- A "slot"cut into their creation for student Valentines to fit through or a removable lid.
- A title that somehow describes the doll's mailbox craft.
- An assigned number (sticker) corresponding to the student artist's name, so that judges would not know which mailbox belonged to which doll until the end of the contest.
- Each box must also be transported to school on the day of the contest prior to 8:00 inside the fifth grade classroom where it would be displayed on top of a student desk.
- No mailbox may measure larger then five inches in height or width. (Because this mail is for our dolls of course!)
If you would like to hold a similar Valentine mailbox contest, I've included a link below that shows how we make "award ribbons" for our winners.

- Print our Valentine postcards to use in your own doll mailbox if you'd like! - These are sized for 18" dolls.
